Goals

Interventions
Administer prescribed antibiotics and monitor for effectiveness. Encourage patient to engage in deep breathing and coughing exercises to promote lung expansion and clear secretions. Monitor oxygen saturation levels and provide supplemental oxygen as needed. Educate patient on the importance of completing the full course of antibiotics and attending follow-up appointments.

These interventions aim to eradicate the infection, improve gas exchange, and prevent complications associated with pneumonia.
Evaluation
