Goals

Interventions
Monitor white blood cell counts regularly. Implement neutropenic precautions such as hand hygiene, avoiding crowds, and avoiding raw foods. Educate patient on the importance of reporting signs of infection immediately, such as fever, chills, or sore throat. Administer prophylactic antibiotics as prescribed.

Evaluation
