Diagnosis

Risk for bleeding related to rupture of ectopic pregnancy.

Goals

Patient will be free from signs of rupture and maintain hemodynamic stability. Patient will verbalize understanding of the importance of early recognition and treatment of ectopic pregnancy.

Interventions

Monitor vital signs and assess for signs of shock. Administer prescribed methotrexate to dissolve ectopic tissue or prepare patient for surgical intervention as needed. Educate patient on the importance of follow-up appointments and monitoring for signs of rupture. Provide emotional support and counseling as needed.

Rationale

These interventions help manage symptoms, prevent complications, and support the patient's emotional well-being.

Evaluation

Patient's hemodynamic stability and understanding of ectopic pregnancy management will be monitored to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
