Goals

Interventions

Assess pain levels and administer prescribed analgesics. Monitor urine output and characteristics for signs of stone passage. Encourage adequate fluid intake to promote urine flow and prevent stone formation. Educate patient on dietary modifications to prevent recurrence of kidney stones.
