Interventions
Administer prescribed antihistamines and epinephrine as needed. Educate patient and caregivers on avoiding known allergens and reading food labels. Encourage patient to wear medical identification indicating food allergies. Provide training on the use of an epinephrine auto-injector.
Rationale
These interventions help prevent allergic reactions, manage symptoms, and support patient and caregiver understanding of food allergy management.
Evaluation
