Interventions

Administer prescribed pain medications and evaluate their effectiveness. Encourage physical therapy to improve mobility and reduce pain. Educate patient on pain management techniques such as relaxation and heat/cold therapy. Monitor for signs of depression and provide psychological support as needed.

Pain management and physical therapy are key to improving function. Psychological support helps address the emotional impact of chronic pain.
