Goals

Interventions
Prepare patient for potential surgical interventions such as hysterectomy or conization. Administer prescribed chemotherapy or radiation therapy and monitor for side effects. Educate patient on the importance of regular Pap smears and HPV vaccinations to prevent cervical cancer. Encourage regular follow-up appointments with a gynecologic oncologist.
